PSG Plus Double Back Purge series heated gas sampling probes are used for continuous analysis of extractive gases. They enable problem-free, representative sampling of hot gases heavily laden with dust and water vapor. Typical applications include process measurements in the cement industry.
The intelligent design with optimum gas guidance enables gas samples to be filtered on the 212 cm2 external filter surface (the largest on the market), as well as comfortable, tool-free filter changeover and dismantling of the heated sample line. Extremely simple maintenance of the PSG Plus Double Back Purge is made possible by a sophisticated corkscrew mechanism, which enables effortless opening even for gluing on the filter housing cover. The holohedral sealed high-performance annular radiator in combination with the thick-walled, tightly-woven fiberglass insulating jacket ensures even heating of the complete PSG Plus Double Back Purge to 180° C. The two-stage back purge with 12×1 mm tube is controlled by optional coaxial solenoid valves with 10 mm passage.
Due to the largest filter surface on the market, in combination with homogeneous heating dust will always be reliably separated in the PSG Plus Double Back Purge without water vapor condensation and therefore without filter blockage. For high dust concentrations of up to 280 g/m3, the PSG Plus Double Back Purge is equipped with an effective double-stage back purge with 10 mm passage, unique on the market. In this way, both the filter and the filter chamber are thoroughly purged, and dust is purged almost completely in the process. The 0.3 µm membrane-coated ceramic filter also supports the high efficiency of the back purge.
