Description
PSG Basic Extruded series controlled heated sample lines are used for the continuous analysis of extractive gases. They are mainly used to transport the wet sample gas stream from the sampling point to the analyzer house. The holding temperature of the line must therefore be higher than the water vapor resp. acid dew point of the sample gas. In this way, uncontrolled condensation of water vapour on the way to the analyzer, and hence washout of gaseous components in the condensate, is prevented. Measurement failure due to a freezing line at ambient temperatures below 0°C is also prevented.
The robust lines with thick-walled, flame retardant TPU, PE or extruded PVC outer sheath are equipped with a parallel heating cable. The insulation is made of thermal fleece or fiberglass. Up to 12 PTFE, PFA, stainless steel or special alloy tubes as inner line and also interchangeable inner tubes are available.
The lines are available up to 300 m in a row, e.g. on a cable reel and then adaptable on site and shortened every 0.5 m. In addition, they are available ready for operation from the factory. Control of the lines to max. 200 ° C is carried out by an external temperature controller (eg PSG ST49 or PSG DC10) via the integrated PT100.
