Description
The PSG Extruded Plus series controlled heated sample lines are used for the continuous analysis of extractive gases. They are mainly used to transport the wet sample gas stream from the sample point to the analyzer house. The holding temperature of the line must therefore be higher than the water vapor or acid dew point of the sample gas. This prevents uncontrolled condensation of the water vapor on the way to the analyzer and thus the washing out of the gas components in the condensate. Measurement failure due to a freezing line at ambient temperatures below 0°C is also prevented.
Technology:
Heavy-duty lines with a thick-walled, flame-retardant TPU, PE or extruded PVC outer sheath are equipped with a high-quality PSG-Plus parallel heating cable. The insulation is made of thermal fleece or glass fibre. Up to 12 PTFE, PFA, stainless steel or special alloy tubes as inner line and also interchangeable inner tubes are available.
Functions:
The lines are available up to 300m in a row, e.g. on cable reels and then adaptable on site and shortened every 0.6m. In addition, they are available ready for operation from the factory. Control of the lines to max. 200°C is carried out by an external temperature controller (e.g. PSG ST49 or PSG DC10) via the integrated PT100.
