Description
CleanAir Europe offers the DECS the long-term dioxin sampler for stack emissions
TCR Tecora's DECS is an automatic sampler designed for continuous sampling of dioxins (PCDDs), furans (PCDFs) and other persistent organic pollutants (POPs) from industrial emissions. It allows extended sample collection thanks to its permanent installation on emission stacks.
The sample is collected via a heated probe and particle filter, then rapidly cooled and filtered through an adsorbent vial filled with XAD-2 resin. The sampling process is fully automated and strictly adheres to isokinetic conditions to ensure reliable and accurate measurements.
DECS consists of two separate units:
- The Sampling Unit, installed directly on the chimney, extracts the samples while preserving their integrity.
- The Control Unit, located in a secure area, manages the entire process and enables real-time monitoring of collection.
DECS optimizes the monitoring of dioxin emissions and enables more accurate analysis of your environmental emissions.
Key points:
- Automatic isokinetic sampling for optimum precision.
- Complies with EN 1948-1, CEN/TS 1948-5 and US EPA Method 23.
- The control unit can manage up to 4 sampling units simultaneously.
- Flexible distance: 2 units can be installed up to 100 m apart
- Fully automated sampling, without the need for an operator.
- Automatic preparation and cleaning procedures.
- Remote control and supervision with real-time alerts by e-mail or SMS in the event of an anomaly.
- Rapid cooling system and XAD-2 adsorbent cartridge for optimum preservation of harvested samples.
- Data recording and storage with export via USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth.
- Low maintenance with easily replaceable filters and adsorbent cartridges.
- Modules can be added to sample other pollutants such as heavy metals, mercury (Hg) and hydrogen chloride (HCl).
