Description

The Picoyune MA-1 is a portable analyzer that uses proprietary plasmonic sensor technology to measure mercury concentrations. This device detects the neurotoxin with a sensitivity ranging from parts per billion (ppb) to extremely high levels exceeding the IDLH limit (10,000 µg/m³).

The Latest-Generation Solution for Mercury Analysis

Mercury vapors pose a high risk and can become highly concentrated in your industrial processes. The Picoyune MA-1 protects your teams by directly analyzing the ambient air as close as possible to their respiratory tracts. Its continuous, real-time readings enable an immediate response to the hazard. The device features visual, haptic, and audible alarms at 85 dB, with fully configurable high and low thresholds.

Unlike traditional UV spectroscopic methods, this system offers exceptional selectivity. It completely ignores hydrocarbons, VOCs, non-condensable moisture, and various industrial gases (CO₂, O₂, SO₂, NOx). Automatic zero correction ensures the absolute reliability of every measurement.

The device is highly durable and optimally compact for your applications in the oil and gas industries. Its ease of use simplifies your field operations. Once powered on and simply attached to a work uniform, the instrument operates completely autonomously. Its UN38.3-certified battery provides 14 hours of continuous use in the field. This portable mercury analyzer stores up to six months of internal history to track your workers’ exact exposure. All of this data can be easily transferred to a PC via a USB connection.
