The MCA 100 Syn is the BIO 100 Rack 19" version of theSyngaz analyzer analyzer entirely developed by ETG. The series ofbiogas analyzers MCA 100 Syn series of biogas analyzers is the ideal solution for the measurement of syngas combustion and industrial applications due to its accuracy, stability, reliability, wide measurement range and variety of available form factors. Unlike other analyzers, theMCA 100 Syn ETG uses NDIR techniques for the measurement of CH4, CO2, CO as well as CnHm depending on the chosen configuration. H2 is measured by means of a TCD (thermal conductivity) sensor and O2 by means of an electrochemical cell.
These single point analysers are used to monitor the composition of the syngas and are then able to accurately provide the composition of the flue gas for the purpose of process optimisation.
The advanced optical and electronic components of NDIR analysis cells have virtually eliminated zero drift after the initial warm-up period. Temperature and pressure compensation eliminate the major causes of span drift typical of many NDIR instruments.
Several gas configurations are available: CH4/CO2/CO/O2/ H2, CH4/CO2/CO/O2/H2/CnHm and others.
The version shown is a 19″ rackmount but a portable version is available MCA 100 Syn P and the fixed wall version ETG 6500 SYN
