Description
Weighing less than 10 kg (including two hot batteries), the NanoScan SMPS model 3910 measures nanoparticle size distributions from 10 to 420 nm in just one minute. Its internal CPC uses isopropyl alcohol as the working fluid, making the NanoScan suitable for use in a variety of sensitive environments. Single particle mode allows the user to monitor concentrations of particles of a single, user-defined size. Data logging is integrated into the instrument, so measurements can be carried out without the use of a laptop.
As a set, i.e. the Model 3910 combined with the Model 3330 Optical Particle Sizer allows users to measure three orders of magnitude from 10 nanometers to 10 μm. These instruments are affordable, portable and provide real-time data that can be merged with multi-instrument management (MIM) software. Already used for cabin measurements in cars and aircraft, the sky is literally the limit when it comes to new applications.
