Description
CleanAir Europe offers the Horiba APMA 360 gas analyzer, designed to continuously measure the concentration of carbon monoxide (CO) in ambient air using non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) technology with flow modulation to reduce interference and improve measurement stability.
The Horiba APMA 360 consists of a light source, a cell, a detector, an optical filter, and a flow modulator , enabling it todetermine air quality.
In conventional NDIR, a rotating partition modulates the sample and reference cells. With an infrared analyzer using the cross-flow modulation method, such asthe Horiba APMA 360, fixed volumes of sample gas and zero gas alternate in the cell, producing an alternating signal based on their absorption, which eliminates potential measurement errors due to fouling.
