Description
The Aeroqual Series 500 portable multi-gas monitor is the ideal instrument for accurate, real-time measurement of indoor and outdoor air pollutants, all in an ultra-portable air quality monitor. Data is stored onboard the Series 500 meter with up to 8,188 records available. To download the data, a USB cable is provided for connection to a PC. The free PC software supplied with the Series 500 takes the data and presents it in graphical or tabular form. The data can be downloaded and viewed in Excel.
The monitor can also be operated in control mode. The upper and lower control limits can be easily set directly on the display. Using the 0-5V output, the Series 500 can be used to turn on or off an external device, such as an ozone generator, or a system at a predetermined gas level. By selecting the optional wall mounting bracket and connecting the AC power supply, the Series 500 can effectively act as a fixed monitor as well as a portable instrument.
The portable monitors can be configured with 28 different gas sensors (CO,CO2, NO2, VOCs, O3, SO2,H2,H2S, Cl2, CH2O, CH4, NH3,C2Cl4) and particulate matter (PM10 and PM2.5). It is possible to measure the target gases in ambient air at different concentrations in outdoor and indoor environments.
