Description
TheETG 9500 FTIRmulti-gas analyzer is the latest instrument designed by the ETG Risorce e Tecnologia R&D team. The fruit of many years' work and experience, our partner ETG has developed a high-resolution FTIR spectrometer, offering high signal transmission capacity, low interference and extended component life.
The ETG 9500 FTIR analyzer can measure a multitude of compounds, depending on the configuration. Its sensitivity ranges from ppm to %, depending on the compound and application. What's more, the ETG 9500 FTIR gas analyzer is available in wall-mounted, 19″ rack and portable formats.
Thanks to its Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy technology, the ETG 9500 multi-gas analyzer makes versatility its strong point. Each compound has a specific absorption frequency in the infrared spectrum. Analysis of the infrared spectrum - using algorithms and mathematical formulas - then reveals the concentrations of the compounds. ETG Risorse e Tecnologia has used a 5-meter optical path in a low-volume cell, giving the ETG 9500 analyzer high sensitivity and fast response times.
Key points:
- Incredibly versatile
- Simple, intuitive interface
- Low detection limit and high accuracy
- No interference
Available for rent:
CleanAir Europe offers the FTIR ETG 9500 for rental as a complete system to suit your applications.
Applications
Industrial emissions
Thanks to its accuracy and the large number of compounds it can measure simultaneously, the ETG 9500 analyzer is ideal for monitoring industrial emissions. Whether integrated into a fixed or portable analysis system, it can monitor the main gases emitted by industrial processes, such as carbon dioxide (CO2), water (H2O), nitrogen oxide (NO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), sulfur dioxide (SO2), ammonia (NH3), hydrochloric acid (HCl) and hydrofluoric acid (HF).
Anesthetic gas monitoring in hospital environments
Highly configurable, the ETG 9500 can be used in operating theatres to monitor the dispersion of anesthetic gases, which represent a real risk for nursing staff. The ETG 9500 analyzer's fast response time and high accuracy enable rapid identification of any anesthetic gas leak, as well as its origin. Compounds measured include nitrous oxide, isoflurane, sevoflurane, desflurane, enflurane, halothane and many others.
Greenhouse gas monitoring
Thanks to its selectivity and low detection limit, the ETG 9500 FTIR analyzer can identify the presence of greenhouse gases - such as methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), carbon dioxide (CO2) and water vapor (H2O) - in the air.
Infinite potential
Composting process monitoring, catalyst control, leak detection in chemical plants, biogas and syngas research and volatile organic compound analysis are just some of the possible applications. The ETG 9500 analyzer's technology, combined with its various versions and configurations, makes it suitable for all applications.
