Description

The Gas Flow Meter 3.0 (GFM 3.0), developed by AddGlobe, is a portable, explosion-proof instrument designed for high-volume quantification of methane leaks. This device uses TDLAS laser technology to provide selectivity specific to this gas. It is capable of detecting even the smallest leaks, starting at 0.5 grams per hour.

 

The Most Compact High-Volume Sampler on the Market

The AddGlobe Gas Flow Meter 3.0 (GFM 3.0) quantifies up to 99% of fugitive methane emissions at your compressor stations. Its high-speed sampling system draws in all the gas escaping from valves or compressors. A robust and secure fan draws air from the leak area through a flexible hose to an internal manifold.

The sample flow rate is then determined by a flow meter that measures differential pressure. This instrument is capable of automatically compensating for differences in gas content between the sample and ambient air, resulting in highly accurate leak rate measurements. It is an ideal solution for meeting the requirements of environmental inspection programs (EPA, LDAR).

The aluminum housing provides IP67 protection to withstand the harshest industrial environments. The instrument maintains optimal performance in temperatures ranging from -40 °C to +60 °C. Its built-in battery provides eight hours of runtime in continuous measurement mode.

This model stands out as the lightest and most compact high-capacity sampler on the market. The instrument can be attached to a harness to keep your hands free during difficult or confined access operations.
