Description

The MCA Syn 100 is the BIO 100 Rack 19" version of ETG's fully developed Syngas analyser. The MCA Syn 100 series of biogas analysers is the ideal solution for measuring syngas combustion and industrial applications due to its accuracy, stability, reliability, wide measurement range and variety of available form factors. Unlike other analysers, theMCA 100 ETG uses NDIR techniques for the measurement of CH4, CO2, CO as well as CnHm depending on the chosen configuration. H2 is measured using a TCD (thermal conductivity) sensor and O2 in an electrochemical cell.

These single point analysers are used to monitor the composition of the syngas and are then able to accurately provide the composition of the flue gas for the purpose of process optimisation.

The advanced optical and electronic components of NDIR analysis cells have virtually eliminated zero drift after the initial warm-up period. Temperature and pressure compensation eliminates the main causes of large-scale drift typical of many NDIR instruments.

Several configurations are available: CH4/CO2/CO/O2/ H2 and CH4/CO2/CO/O2/H2/CnHm
