Description
CleanAir Europe offers you the PSG Basic series of heated gas sampling probes, specially designed for the continuous analysis of extractive gases. They enable representative, trouble-free sampling of hot gases, often laden with dust and water vapor. These probes are ideal for applications such as emissions measurement, industrial process monitoring andproduction process optimization.
Thanks to their intelligent design and optimal gas guidance, PSG Basic probes offer a 212 cm² external filter surface - the largest in the world - guaranteeing efficient gas filtration. Filter replacement is quick and convenient, requiring no tools and no dismantling of the heated sampling line. Maintenance is simplified thanks to a space-saving support, which can also be used to lift the lid of a sticky filter housing.
PSG Basic probes incorporate a sealed, high-performance holohedral heating ring, coupled with a thick glass-fiber insulation sheath. This design ensures even heating of the probe up to 250°C, which is essential to prevent water vapor condensation and filter blockage. Self-regulating versions offer a factory setting of 160°C to 180°C, while regulated temperatures up to 250°C are recommended for gases with a high dew point (acid) or to prevent salification caused by components such as ammonia (NH₃).
With a porosity of 0.1 µm or 0.3 µm, PSG Basic probe filters can handle dust up to 3 g/m³, and up to 10 g/m³ with a pre-filter or single-stage back purge. The coated SiC ceramic filter, with a porosity of 0.3 µm, offers excellent thermal and chemical resistance, even under extreme conditions. This makes the probes suitable for applications involving low, medium or high dust levels.
In short, the PSG Basic gas sampling probe combines robust design, homogeneous heating and unrivalled filtration surface, guaranteeing reliable performance for extractive gas analysis. It is particularly recommended for demanding environments, thanks to its long service life and ability to handle complex gases efficiently.
