Description
The low-maintenance, high-performance compressor coolers of the MAK 6 series are used for the continuous analysis of extractive gases. They are mainly used to lower the dew point of the sample gas and thus to dry the wet sample gas stream. In this way, water vapor cross-sensitivities and volumetric errors are minimized and damage to the analyzer is avoided. The MAK 6 series are proven and robust refrigerated coolers of long standing, launched in 1995 and still available.
Precise temperature control in combination with the long-lasting hot gas bypass system and innovative corrosion-resistant heat exchangers ensure extremely constant and low dew points. Load fluctuations and high thermal loads are also reliably compensated for. The two single or double heat exchangers with one or two gas paths each are constructed in a solid aluminium cylinder which guarantees an optimum energy exchange between the sample gas and the cooling medium. The MAK 6 is equipped with exchangeable heat exchangers that allow easy replacement without dismantling the instrument.
