Description
The compact gas conditioning systems of the MAK10-Peltier series are used for the continuous analysis of extractive gases. They are mainly used for the constant and exact lowering of the dew point of the sample gas and thus for the drying of the wet sample gas stream. In this way, cross-sensitivities of water vapor and volumetric errors are minimized and damage to the sensitive analyzer is avoided. With optional components such as condensate pumps, pre-separators, filters, liquid sensors, flow meters and sample gas pumps, the MAK10-Peltier series can be upgraded to complete compact, fast and simple integrated conditioning systems. The flexible modular design ensures optimal adaptation to any measuring task.
Precise temperature control with pulse width modulation in combination with innovative corrosion-resistant heat exchangers ensures extremely constant low dew points. Load fluctuations and high thermal stresses are also reliably compensated for. The hydrophobic, corrosion-resistant PTFE coating and the very short retention time in the heat exchanger ensure the lowest possible gas dissolution rate.
An electronic system monitors the dew point and the cooling air temperature. Potential-free alarm contacts allow remote monitoring of the unit. Operating parameters are stored in a logbook for diagnosis. An operating hour counter monitors the maintenance intervals. The housing versions available are wall-mounted, 19-inch and very light mobile versions with carrying handles.
