Description
The JCT Airpointer is an air quality monitoring station (AQMS) that can be fully configured with a wide range of analysis modules depending on the application.
Its compact size allows for easy installation in most environments. It also features optimized thermal management, reducing its energy consumption compared to conventional monitoring stations.
A Modular Design
The modular design ofthe Airpointer, consisting of a base unit, analysis modules, and sensor modules, allows for a configuration tailored to different applications.
- Airpointer 2D: 2 modules to choose from
- Airpointer 4D: 4 modules to choose from
- Airpointer PM: All modules (except BTX)
NO/NO2/NOX module:
The Airpointer uses the principle of chemiluminescence to measure nitrogen oxides. Equipped with a time delay loop, this station can measure NO and NO₂ from the same sample.
Measuring range: dynamic, up to 20 ppm.
Module O3:
This module uses the principle of UV absorption measurement. In addition, a zero air supply is included and provides automatic control at a defined frequency.
Measuring range: dynamic, up to 20 ppm.
SO2/H2S module:
H₂S is thermally converted to SO₂ and measured by UV fluorescence. Equipped with an H₂S module, the analyzer is capable of measuring the concentration of H₂S, SO₂, or both, with a minimum switching time of 5 minutes.
Measuring range: dynamic, up to 10 ppm.
CO module:
This device is based on the NDIR principle using carbon monoxide (CO). A photodetector measures the decrease in emitted light.
Measuring range: dynamic, up to 1000 ppm.
PM module:
The PM module allows simultaneous, real-time measurement of PM10 and PM2.5 concentrations in accordance with European and US EPA standards. Particle size is determined using laser diffraction technology. The JCT Airpointer can be equipped with an approved fine particle (PM) analyzer.
Measurement range:
PM10 and PM2.5: dynamic, up to 1000 ppm.
- Certifications: PM10 and PM2.5 (Thermo 5030 SHARP, Met One BAM1020, and EDM 180°C).
- Measurement of PM10, PM4, PM2.5, PM1, and TSP is available as an option in laser spectrometry.
BTEX module (optional):
It incorporates a gas chromatograph for measuring BTEX (benzene/toluene/ethylbenzene/xylene). It requires no carrier gas and provides automatic daily calibration control.
Measuring range: 0 to 100 ppb (extended range available on request).
For more demanding applications, the Airpointer offers several options:
An internal ozone generator (regular monitoring of the measurement point)
An internal NO2 source (regular control of the measurement point)
Internal H₂S sources (regular calibration point control)
An internal CO source (regular measurement range control)
The Air Quality Monitoring Station JCT Airpointer uses approved reference methods for monitoring air pollutants in accordance with European and American directivesEN 14625 (O₃), EN 14626 (CO), EN 14211 (NO/NO₂/NOₓ), EN 14212 (SO₂), US EPA standards.
Data management
The Airpointer has an internal data management system, supplemented by an online platform that allows data to be easily viewed. All parameters can be displayed in clear and readable graphs.
