Description

The Chromatotec TRS MEDOR is an autoGC-ED (MEDOR® wet cell electrochemical detector), ATEX certified. This analyzer continuously measures sulfur compounds (H₂S, mercaptans, and sulfides) in different matrices, providing a reliable solution for industrial sulfur monitoring .

This sulfur compound analyzer features automatic sampling via a loop connected to a sampling pump. Automatic loop injection is performed on a metal capillary column. All compounds eluted from the column are detected using the MEDOR® detector: an SSD wet cell electrochemical detector (specific sulfur detector).

Compound speciation and total reduced sulfur (TRS): this gas analyzer integrates the measurement of H₂S, SO₂, DMS, MM, DES, DMDS, and EM compounds, with a measurement interval of 600 seconds.

For more demanding applications, it is also possible to add IPM, TBM, NPM, 2BM, IBM, NBM, MES, and THT compounds, with a measurement interval of 1200 seconds, in order to cover a broader spectrum of compounds and meet advanced monitoring needs, thus offering flexibility tailored to different monitoring requirements.

 

Available versions

Two versions exist depending on the expected concentrations:

– TRS MEDOR® ppm
The detection limit for this version of the Chromatotec TRS MEDOR is ± 0.1 ppm, ideal for applications requiring medium concentration detection.

– TRS MEDOR® ppb
The detection limit for this version is ± 1 ppb, designed for environments where very high sensitivity is required.
