This cyclone separator is mounted at the end of the sampling probe in the chimney.

The sample is taken at a constant flowrate and particles larger than 10 μm (aerodynamic diameter) are eliminated. Particle mass is determined by weighing after drying.

The PM10/2.5 model samples particles smaller than 10 μm, i.e. those between 10 and 2.5 μm and particles smaller than 2.5μm.

C.A.Th.I.A item 470

This device is used for special sampling, particularly asbestos.
The C.A.Th.I.A head is an Alveolar Inhalable Thoracic Aerosol Sensor.
The filter is held between 2 rings which are part of the filter cassette covers so that the whole filter assembly can be removed. The operator does not have to handle the filter at all when installing and removing it.
The machine is supplied with a tripod on request.

Dusts item 311 et 311A

This isokinetic manual sampling system will continuously sample gas or vapor in a chimney while maintaining the same speed characteristics as at the sampling point. Particles are removed onto a filter. Hot gases are conditioned in a series of cold bubblers.

Condensate is recovered and a volume flowmeter (DGM) measures the dry gas flowrate.

This system can either be supplied with a heating cabinet or with a Cateco oven box which reduces its overall size.
